For many who don't know, every twice a year, there is the National Restaurant Week. For one week, the participating restaurants offer their a 3 course dinner for under €30. This week happens to be the week!
The participating restaurants may not be Michelin star but they might as well be in my book. The creativity and variety available in the selection will be a trip for your taste buds. The cuisine featured is mostly from the modern kitchen but also very often inspired by traditional techniques and taste. Although the price doesn't include drinks, sometimes they offer wine pairing options.
It really is a great opportunity to try the best restaurants in Amsterdam at a reasonable cost. I just reserved one at Jaimie van Heije at Ouderkerk this weekend and I can't wait.
